A Pending transaction is an authorised payment that is awaiting confirmation from Mastercard. Recently completed transactions are initially shown as Pending while the payment is being processed, and the funds will remain held until the transaction is confirmed.
Within 14 days, a Pending transaction will either be completed or reversed.
Once Mastercard confirms the transaction, it will be marked as completed and the funds will be released to the merchant.
Please note:
- For payments made in currencies other than the 18 wallet currencies supported for in-app exchange, the exchange rate may fluctuate slightly before a Pending transaction is completed. As a result, the final transaction amount may differ slightly from the initial amount shown.
- A transaction will be reversed if Mastercard does not successfully confirm it within 14 days. The original payment amount will then be credited back to your YouTrip account.
- In uncommon circumstances, Mastercard may confirm a transaction after it has already been reversed. If this happens, a new transaction record with the confirmed transaction amount will be created, while the original transaction will remain reversed.
