Download the YouTrip app from the Google Play Store or App Store and follow these steps to apply:
- Select Malaysia as your country of residence.
- Enter your mobile number and verify it using the OTP sent to you.
- Enter your email address and verify your email.
- Select your identity document:
- Malaysian citizens: MyKad or MyTentera
- Foreign citizens: MYPR or Passport
- Record a self-video for identity verification.
- Enter your residential address and personal details. Your physical card will be delivered to this address.
- If you are applying using a Passport, submit your Proof of Address.
- Enter your profile details.
- Enter your preferred name to appear on your YouTrip card.
- Submit your application for verification.
Your application will usually be verified within 15 minutes after successful submission. If additional checks are required due to discrepancies in the information provided, verification may take 3–5 business days.
Once your application is approved, you will receive an email notification. You will also receive a complimentary virtual YouTrip card, which is automatically activated and ready to use immediately. Your physical card will be delivered to your registered residential address.
