How does the YouTrip Referral Programme work?

The YouTrip Referral Programme allows existing YouTrip users to earn rewards by referring friends to sign up for a YouTrip account.

Existing users can share their personalised referral link through the YouTrip app. Both the existing user (referrer) and the new user can receive a RM15 reward when the referral is successfully completed.

How to complete a successful referral

For a referral to qualify for the reward:

1. The new user must click on the referral link shared by the existing user before submitting their application or viewing the “Application Complete” screen.
2. The new user must complete their registration and verification.
3. The new user must activate their YouTrip card.
4. The new user must make their first RM10 spend, excluding ATM withdrawals.
5. Once all requirements are completed, RM15 will be credited to both the referrer’s and new user’s YouTrip wallet.

Important: If the new user has already submitted their application, the referral link can no longer be paired with their account and they will not be eligible for the referral reward.

How do I know if my referral is successful?

You can view your referral progress in the “Refer A Friend” section of the YouTrip app.

Referral statuses are shown as:

• Pending – The referral has signed up but has not yet completed the required steps, or the referral has not yet completed their sign-up.
• Completed – The referral has successfully signed up, completed their first top-up and made their first RM10 spend.

For privacy, the referral progress only displays the new user's masked phone number, for example: +60 **** 4378.

Is there a limit to the number of people I can refer?

There is no limit to the number of successful referrals you can make during the Referral Programme.

You will receive RM15 for each successful referral.

How long is my referral link valid?

Your referral link is refreshed every 30 days from your approval date.

When will I receive my referral reward as a new user?

You will receive the RM15 referral reward after you have completed the referral requirements, including activating your YouTrip card and making your first RM10 spend, excluding ATM withdrawals.
